WAX Silica MPLC

WAX Silica is a weak anion exchanger. The bare silica is modified using Polyethylenimin (PEI) which includes several tertiary Amine Groups in the skeleton. The polymerization degree is about 30.

WAX Silica is suitable for the separation of strong basic compounds and has a strong ion exchange capacity.

For MPLC (Medium Pressure Liquid Chromatography)

WAX Silica MPLC is available in porosities of 100Å, 300Å, and 500Å and a particle size distribution of 20-45µm.

Quality and Diversity

WAX Silica MPLC is manufactured on Sorbtech’s Premium Rf™ Spherical Silica Gel which boasts narrow pore and particle distributions, ensuring optimal selectivity, capacity, efficiency, low operating pressure, and shorter processing time.

Purity

Premium Rf Spherical Silica Gel is manufactured to a high chemical purity standard (99.95% SiO2). Organics and trace metals content are controlled within stringent limits. Each production batch has undergone extensive quality control testing to ensure reliable lot-to-lot performance. This rigid control of chemical purity, surface area and pore size, ensure our silica will yield reproducible separation results and allow for direct scale-up without requiring time-consuming method redevelopment.

Robust

Our spherical silicas are mechanically robust and can, therefore, be repacked multiple times in either analytical or preparative scale columns.
