Diol HPLC Analytical

Diol Silica can be used in both the Normal Phase and Reversed Phase modes, just as Amine and Cyano bonded phases.  Diol Silica is much less chemically reactive as compared to Amine Silica.  It is also insensitive to the water content of mobile phases.  It can be washed with water without causing difficulties. 

Diol bonded phases are particularly useful for aqueous GPC applications.
