Marc Perla – President, Co-Founder
Marc Perla is the Co-Founder & President of Sorbent Technologies. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and brings decades of leadership, strategy, logistics, and chromatography-industry expertise.
David Schurer – Vice President, Co-Founder
David Schurer co-founded Sorbent Technologies and serves as Vice President. Raised in the lab & scientific supplies business, he brings over 30 years of customer-focused experience in chromatography and purification.
Ray Lombardi – General Manager
Ray Lombardi is the General Manager at Sorbent Technologies with over 43 years of experience in chromatography. He’s held leadership roles at Thermo Fisher, Agilent Technologies, and Micromeritics Instruments.
Dr. Robert Kerr – Director of R&D
Dr. Robert Kerr, was educated at Austin College (B.A.), University of Texas at Austin (M.A.), and Université Louis-Pasteur in Strasbourg, France (D.E.A., D.Sc.). He brings multidisciplinary expertise in drug synthesis, natural products chemistry, and analytical instrumentation.

Trey Massengill- Account Manager
Trey Massengill is an Account Manager at Sorbent Technologies, covering Region 2 in the U.S. (AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, OH, PR, SC, TN, VA, WV) and serving clients internationally. He’s from Lawrenceville, GA, educated at Georgia College & State University, with previous experience in analytical instruments.
Mitchell Barton – Account Manager
Mitchell Barton is an Account Manager for Region 3 (AR, IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TX, WI) at Sorbent Technologies. Originally from Locust Grove, GA, he holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia.
Priscilla Nunn – Account Manager
Priscilla Nunn is the Account Manager for Region 1 (CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT) at Sorbent Technologies. She combines strong sales experience with technical knowledge of chromatography materials, enabling her to understand researchers’ needs.
Alyson Colin – Account Manager
Alyson Colin is Account Manager for Region 4 at Sorbent Technologies — covering AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY in the U.S. and Canada.
She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Oklahoma State and a Master’s from Georgia Tech.
