Our guard column cartridges are a very convenient and economical type of guard column. Guard columns can be installed directly in a suitable columns head (built-in type) or they can be mounted in a separate holder and connected to the column via a capillary.
Generally, the built-in guard column reduces dead volume, improving separation efficiency and is therefore recommended wherever possible.
