Preparative Thin Layer Chromatography (Prep TLC) is a quick and cost-effective method used to purify and isolate compounds from impurities on a larger scale than standard TLC.

It works well for separating and recovering small amounts of material from reaction mixtures. Prep TLC allows fast and efficient isolation of individual components.

You can choose from different layer thicknesses—500 µm, 1000 µm, and 2000 µm—depending on your needs. The 2000 µm layers use slightly coarser material to handle larger sample loads.

To collect purified compounds, scrape the separated spots from the plate and use them for further analysis.
