Cytiva-compatible SorbaSep desalting columns give you a reliable way to purify biomolecules. They remove small-molecule contaminants, support buffer exchange, and perform efficient desalting.
In addition, these columns work seamlessly with all FPLC and liquid chromatography systems. Therefore, you can integrate them directly into your existing setup without adjustments. As a result, SorbaSep columns provide a simple, rapid, and reproducible process that ensures your samples are ready for downstream applications.
SorbSep FPLC Column Features:
- Preloaded with SorbaDex-25 Superfine, a beaded composite size-exclusion matrix that delivers high flow rates, strong resolution, and excellent chemical stability.
- Fractionates globular proteins between 1 and 5 kD; fully aqueous-compatible with a broad pH range of 2–13.
- 5 mL column bed volume works with sample sizes from 0.1 to 1.5 mL, allowing complete removal of contaminants.

SorbaSep™ FPLC Desalting Columns

The fractionation range for globular proteins is between 1 and 5 kD. The size exclusion cut-off is approximately 5 kD, which ensures efficient separation of proteins/peptides/biomolecules larger than 5 kD from lower molecular weight molecules of less than 1 kD. SorbaSep™ desalting FPLC columns contain SorbaDex™-25 Superfine, a beaded composite size exclusion matrix. It exhibits high flow rates, excellent resolution, and chemical stability. Buffer and pH effects on resolution are minimal.
