CHROMABOND® vacuum manifolds let you prepare 12, 16, or 24 samples at the same time. You can choose from three configurations that hold up to 12, 16, or 24 CHROMABOND® columns or CHROMAFIX® cartridges. This way, you can set up the system that best fits your workflow.
Each manifold has a strong glass cabinet with a polypropylene lid and a built-in vacuum gauge. You can easily monitor the pressure and adjust it with the control valve. As a result, you get consistent and reliable SPE results every time.
The lid also includes replaceable stopcocks, so you can control each column separately when needed. In addition, the variable rack with exchangeable partitions holds many vessel types, such as test tubes, flasks, vials, and more.

Contamination
Special Connectors for Cross-Contamination Protection in SPE
For special solid phase extraction (SPE) applications that demand maximum protection against cross-contamination, Sorbtech offers chrome-plated brass valves and stainless steel or PTFE connectors. These inert connectors are securely fitted through the vacuum manifold lid, ensuring that samples only come into contact with the connector material. CHROMABOND® Drying Attachments and Collection Racks For Evaporation of Eluates
If the eluate has to be evaporated, this can be performed with the so-called drying attachment (11). This special lid has a gas connector on one side (12), from which the gas is fed simultaneously to the 12 or 24 stations (13). Thus 12 or 24 eluates can be evaporated simultaneously by just changing the lid and applying a stream of inert gas, e.g., nitrogen.
