This scope is an ideal tool for immunology and other specialized applications. This system creates UV light at specific wavelengths for exciting fluorochrome-stained specimens. The light housing is mounted between the body and head of the microscope and includes a variable-control transformer box.  A convenient centering screen is built into the front of the unit for fast and precise centering of the bulb.
